CASIO LAMPFREE® PROJECTORS TAKE CENTER STAGE AT INFOCOMM 2017
Casio’s Expansive Projector Lineup Will Be on Display

DOVER, NJ, June 14, 2017 Casio America, Inc., a leading projector manufacturer, is showcasing  its expansive lineup of  LampFree® projectors at InfoComm 2017, the largest trade fair in North America for audiovisual communications. At the conference, Casio is proud to announce the launch of the XJ-UT311WN, the newest model in the Ultra Short Throw series. This projector, along with several of Casio’s latest models, including the XJ-L8300HN 4K UHD model and Casio’s full LampFree® lineup, will be on display in Casio’s booth (#2527) from June 14-16 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

“Casio prides itself on providing a range of industries – from the business space to the education field and beyond – with the most advanced projection tools,” said Joe Gillio, Senior Director Strategic Planning and Marketing, of Casio’s Business Projector Division. “It is a joy to showcase our latest innovations at InfoComm each year. The new XJ-L8300HN 4K UHD model is a prime example of our dedication to the industry as we further the advancement of our projection technologies.”

LampFree Technology and Swap Lamp Program
Casio’s Core, Advanced, Ultra Short Throw, and Slim series projectors are powered by its innovative LampFree technology. This esteemed technology combines a laser and LED light source to create a high-brightness, mercury-free tool that uses up to half the amount of power per unit than other lamp-based projectors. This makes Casio’s projectors a safer and more affordable choice for organizations and companies that are looking to not only go green, but also save money at the same time.

For educators and administrators, Casio offers a special Swap Lamp Program, which is designed to introduce schools and educators to the benefits of LampFree projectors and encourage the elimination of traditional mercury-based lamp projectors. As part of this program, schools can swap five mercury replacement lamps in exchange for a Casio LampFree EcoLite projector (XJ-V1), thus removing dangerous mercury from schools and providing  all of the participating organizations with a cost-effective and high-quality alternative. For additional information on Casio’s Swap Lamp Program, visit www.casiolampfree.com/swaplamp.

4K UHD Projectors
This year at InfoComm, Casio will also be showcasing its first 4K UHD model – the XJ-L8300HN. This projector comes equipped with a 4K DLP® chip that projects images of approximately 8.3 million pixels, reproducing the true color and beauty of images at a much higher level than conventional projectors. With its high brightness of 5,000 lumens, the XJ-L8300HN is great for brightly lit rooms and larger venues. The XJ-L8300HN is also equipped with a lens shift function to correct projector positioning and a super resolution feature that enhances the signal of low-resolution movies and images to produce the effect of higher resolution.

XJ-UT311WN Ultra Short Throw Projector
Also new this year is Casio’s XJ-UT311WN Ultra Short Throw projector, which can project brilliant shadow-free, crisp, images at close range with its built-in 0.28:1 fixed lens. The XJ-UT311WN produces 3,100 lumens of brightness and boasts WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution with a 20,000:1 contrast ratio, which is ideal for displaying HD content from video and computer sources. Network (RJ-45) and local RS-232 connections provide control and remote status monitoring capabilities and a wireless presentation adaptor is included.

Core and Advanced Series
Additionally, Casio will also have its Core and Advanced Series projectors on display. Projectors in these series feature a 20,000-hour estimated operating life and can reach full brightness in as fast as five seconds from the time they are powered thanks to Casio’s innovative Quick Start technology. They also feature a 1.5X zoom lens for optimal flexibility in projector placement.

These models also have a dust resistant design that is achieved by structuring the internal components into separate blocks and shields the optical block from dust and suppresses dust intrusion. This helps ensure that dust does not lower projection brightness, helping it to maintain optimal performance for the life of the unit and eliminating the need and cost of replacing filters.
