Large Venue High Ceilings No Longer Require Black Drop
Wireline Eliminates Black Drop With Thin Steel Cables Up To 29’

WARSAW, IN – June 8, 2016 – When designing large venues, ballrooms or architecturally appealing rooms, a consultant, integrator or architect may feel conflicted when installing a traditional screen in a room with high ceilings that will require a lot of black drop to accommodate the AV needs and an appropriate screen viewing height. The Wireline from Da-Lite is the aesthetic solution to this design challenge.

Wireline is a ceiling recessed projection screen for large venues that uses thin steel cables instead of black drop to lower only the viewing area to an appropriate height for the audience. The result is stunning with a large screen that is almost invisibly suspended at the right viewing height, leaving the architecture of the room exposed.

“We are very excited to offer this product to our customers. We’ve combined the easy installation of the Advantage housing with our 4K HD Progressive surfaces and a very modern aesthetic,” said Melissa Rone, Senior Marketing Manager. “The Wireline allows design flexibility when meeting the AV needs of large venues with high ceilings.”

The Wireline Advantage housing can be ceiling recessed or wall mounted and features the easy installation brackets that is inherent to the Advantage line. The Wireline Advantage will feature cable lengths up to 29 ft. For a product demo or more information attendees can visit booth C5408.
