Da-Lite Introduces New Electric Screen To Enhance Speed of Service
New Descender Pro Will Be Stocked With Four Surfaces and Ready To Ship Same Day

WARSAW, IN – May 17, 2018 – While custom and made-to-order products are a cornerstone of the Da-Lite business, sometimes a customer needs a screen fast. The new Descender Pro will be the first product that Da-Lite stocks ready to ship same day.

The non-customizable electric screen will be available in 16:9 and 16:10 formats in sizes from 106”-164” diagonal with four surface options – HD Progressive 0.9, HD Progressive 1.1, Da-Mat and Matte White. The black drop for tensioned screens will be 12” visible and preset while the black drop for the non-tensioned will be 2” visible and preset with a total 12” built into the housing.

“We are excited to provide another option for customers in our ceiling recessed electric screen portfolio,” said Wendy Cox, Director of Product Management. The Descender Pro features standard low-voltage control and a silent motor as well as sliding brackets for an easy installation. “It is a compact-housing electric screen with a few upgraded features,” explained Cox. “For example, the sliding brackets featured on the Descender Pro are limited in comparison to the Advantage line, but still offer quite a bit of flexibility when installing into a ceiling.”

The Descender Pro will begin shipping mid-summer and will also be covered by Da-Lite’s new 5-Year Warranty program that covers an array of featured products. For more information visit www.milestone.com.
