(Spiceland, Ind.) - May 14, 2018 – Draper, a leading manufacturer of projection screens and projector and flat-panel display lifts, will be attending InfoComm 2018 in Las Vegas, June 6-8, 2018 in booth 2347.
At InfoComm 2017, Draper celebrated its biggest and best year ever by unveiling a massive rebrand. For InfoComm 2018, the company will again celebrate its best year ever, but this time with an even bigger announcement: the launch of a new initiative offering products and solutions for a more custom AV experience.
Draper will be featuring, among several other product lines, Ropewalker, TecVision, Silent Partner and Fly Cages. These products fill very specific roles needed in delivering the custom AV experience.
Ropewalker lowers a motorized screen housing from the ceiling using durable steel cables. A motorized projection screen will descend from the housing to an appropriate height typically up to 34 feet, making it ideal for most large venues, including houses of worship, ballrooms, gymnasiums or architecturally appealing rooms. Together with the TecVision, Ropewalker creates a robust solution for many video needs.
TecVision XH800X UST ALR is a premium ambient light rejecting surface formulated for use with Ultra-Short Throw (UST) and short throw projectors in moderate to high ambient light applications for improved contrast and color saturation. This surface can reject 57% of off axis ambient light while still being able to support extremely wide viewing angles. In addition, TecVision CS1000X ALR boasts Draper’s award-winning TecVision innovation with 82 percent ambient light rejection, making it ideal for spaces where there’s high ambient light with no way to control it.
Silent Partner™ ensures projector heat and noise are no longer a problem: The Silent Partner is a projector enclosure designed to hold projectors from 5,000—15,000 ANSI lumens with a convoluted exhaust airflow path and acoustic insulation foam to greatly reduce any sound from the projector, while the thermostatic fan control ensures proper projector cooling.
Draper’s fly cages are available in several sizes and designed to provide sturdy, long-lasting protection. Manufactured from 2” tubing, Draper fly cages easily attach to cheeseborough clamps for quick and secure mounting to truss. The adjustment mechanism allows precise projector alignment, and multiple cages can be stacked for increased projector brightness or redundancy.
Draper will also be featuring collaborations with Sony, Absen, NEC and D3 during the show, as well as sponsoring The Park for the second consecutive year. The Park is an area where attendees can come to relax and recharge, whether it’s a bite to eat, recharging your cell phone, or enjoying live entertainment and free beer (during the last hour of the show day).
“InfoComm 2018 is going to be a very exciting show for us,” said Bob Mathes, Draper’s director of audiovisual markets. “We are extremely proud of our long tenure within this industry and looking forward to how much our current and potential dealers love our new and existing product.”
